Scholars Enjoy Lunch and Legos at Newburgh Free Library
Earlier this week the Newburgh Free Library facilitated a lego station during lunch time. Scholars were able to enjoy their lunch and then spend a few minutes experimenting with architecture and engineering with legos.

Free Summer Meals in Newburgh and New Windsor Open to ALL Children 18 and Younger
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District will launch their Free Summer Meals program with a collaborative event with Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County, and local community agencies.

Temple Hill Academy Scholars in Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 Celebrate Achievements at the June Grade Level Assemblies
Students received certificates for their improvements in reading and math. Graduates of iRead and those with perfect attendance were also recognized.

Students worked to advance their reading skills by successfully completing iRead units of study. Students were rewarded for 'leveling up' with a special ice cream party.

Temple Hill Academy Second Grade Has an In House Field Trip With Mad Science
Mad Science came to the school with Fluffy the Baby T-Rex! The kids had a blast while learning some amazing facts about why we know what we know about dinosaurs.

Temple Hill K-5 Scholars enjoyed a water soaked field day on June 20th. The rain held out but they dove into the fun activities, water games bounce slides and dancing.

Newburgh Free Library Opens A Universe of Stories
Stop by the Main or Branch locations of the Newburgh Free Library and sign up for the Summer Reading Program. There are programs for youth of all ages, and adults too! Registration begins June 17, but continues throughout the summer.
