NFA Astronomy Club to Host Season of Light Dome Show in Planetarium
The show "Season of Light," is a dome show, shown all over during the holiday season. The show recounts the historical religious and cultural rituals practiced during the time of winter solstice.

Heritage Middle School Collects 1,171 Pairs of Socks for SOCK-tober!
Throughout October, our school community came together to collect socks that will be donated directly to a youth shelter, a critical resource that supports many students within our district.

Students danced to the sounds of the DJ and enjoyed a lot of yummy food. They had pizza, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks from Mamma Mia Café and Pizzeria in New Windsor.

Each student that brought in a meal shared what they brought in and where it was from. We had over 10 countries represented including the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Colombia and Peru.

Heritage Celebrates Heritage with our Annual Sugar Skull Glow in the Dark Project!
Students in Ms. McCarthy’s Art Class watched the movie Coco and created Sugar Skulls in honor of Dia De Los Muertos. Students used symbols to describe ancestors or family members that inspire them.

Heritage Middle School Scholars Use LEGOS to Learn Physics
Middle school class utilized LEGOs to build gymnasts and participate in activities to learn about Newton's three laws of motion and predict how forces acting on an object can change its motion and trajectory.
