NECSD Co-Sponsors 5th Annual Back to School BBQ in Downing Park
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District co-sponsored the 5th Annual Back to School BBQ in Downing Park. We Are Newburgh: Peace, Love, Unity, created the event in hopes of providing students with the necessary supplies and support for a successful school year. Over 3,500 backpacks and school supplies were given out. Vendors were on site to provide necessary supports for families. A BBQ, live performances, bouncy houses, and outdoor games enhanced the spirit and excitement of the event as scholars and their families prepared for the new school year.
