Empire State After-School Program Parent Survey
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District’s Empire After-School grant is a five-year program held at each of our middle and high school campuses. Services focus on: improving the social, emotional, academic, and vocational competencies of our scholars; and reducing negative behaviors such as bullying, violence, school suspensions and absences. Through the program, classroom teachers are hired, and we collaborate with community based organizations and vendors, to serve 885 students for up to 30 weeks during the school year and a summer program, with a maximum ratio of 15 students to one teacher. Course are determined based on parent and student input, each school’s vision and resources, and collaboration with district departments.
Please take this survey to help us create after-school programs that are the most fitting for your child's wants and needs. Your feedback is important in our decision making.
