34 Scholars Honored with NYS Seal of Biliteracy
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District recognized 34 scholars who earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy. The New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB) recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.
Students must complete all requirements for graduating with a NYS Regents diploma and must earn sufficient credits towards demonstrating proficiency in English and another language through the New York State Seal of Biliteracy point system.
