Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus Music Department Hosts their Spring Concert I
Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus Music Department hosted their Spring Concert I on May 3, 2018. Mr. Raul Rodriguez, principal at Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus welcomed students and their families to the performance.
Performances were given by: Cecile Chaminade Women’s Chorus, Electronic Keyboard Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Robert D. Williams Men’s Glee, and Percussion Ensemble.
Cecile Chaminade Women’s Chorus is conducted by Ms. Jillian Caci. Performances included: The Star-Spangled Banner (John Stafford Smith), Sisi Ni Moja (Jacob Narverud), Famine Song (arr. Matthew Culloton), I am Not Yours (David Childs), and Call Me at a Payphone (arr. G. Shilling, M. Sweeney).
Electronic Keyboard Ensemble is conducted by Dr. Paul Carroll.
Robert D Williams Men’s Glee is conducted by Mrs. Monica Atonelli-Guido. Performances included: The Peasant Cantana (arr. H.W. Loomis), Seize the Day (Feldman and Menken / arr. Emerson), God Only Knows (Wilson and Asher), and If You’ve Only Got a Moustache (Cooper and Foster/ arr. Van Camp).
Percussion Ensemble is conducted by Dr. Paul Carroll. Performance included: Junk Funk (Mario Gaetano).
