All You Need Is LOVE... Third Annual NECSD Day Celebrated Across The District!
This 3rd annual event was an opportunity for all of us to demonstrate our district pride. Team NECSD Day is a celebration of us! The Newburgh Enlarged City School District has a lot to be proud of and we utilized this day to commemorate what makes us great. Every day we have amazing things happening in our schools. Whether it was through school clean up, painting buddy benches, or having a parade ... all of our scholars took part in this district wide celebration, bringing us all together.
The day will featured activities across the district. These events helped to pay tribute to current scholars, teachers, alumni, families, community leaders. This year’s gift is a Team NECSD Buddy Bench. A hand-crafted bench has been designed and developed by our very own CTE students. Schools were encouraged to decorate their Buddy Bench with their unique touch.
Team NECSD Day has grown this year to include a free evening event at NFA Main in which local community organizations and our scholars will came together to celebrate love and hope. There were student performances and local entertainment to commensurate the day.
