Newburgh Free Academy, North Campus Celebrates NECSD Day!

Newburgh Free Academy, North Campus kicked off the day by offering a "second up of coffee" to parents and bus drivers as they dropped off our students! We just received this note from a parent: “Thankful to NFA North Students & staff! You made my day! I was handed a cup of coffee with the fixings as I dropped my son off to school today. Something so simple made me smile! Thank you! NECSD Rules!” 

NFA, North Campus was busy all day long with activities. Throughout the day, they were strengthening health and safety and building civic duty. Voter registration was set up for students who would be 18 by the time of the next election. Blood pressure screenings, CPR demo, BMI check, sanitize your cell phone, Aroma therapy and hand massages by our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students. 

Last, but certainly not least, senior class president, Jason McLaren hosted "The Today Show with Jason McLaren" with special guests Dr. Roberto Padilla and Mr. Matteo Doddo. The show was filled with laughs, thank you notes, and even a lip-sync battle!
