Read Across the Academy | Temple Hill Academy
Temple Hill Academy recently celebrated literacy and learning with its Read Across the Academy program, an exciting initiative designed to foster a love of reading among students of all ages. This school-wide event featured a Reading Rally, STEAM challenges, guest readers, digital breakouts, and engaging reading challenges that brought the joy of books to life.
One of the program’s highlights was the Principal’s Challenge, where administrators competed to see who could read to the most classrooms in a single day. In a thrilling finish, Mr. Palmer and Mr. Brady tied for first place, demonstrating their dedication to literacy and their enthusiasm for engaging with students through storytelling.
Temple Hill Academy extends its gratitude to all the guest readers, teachers, and staff who contributed to making Read Across the Academy a success. By integrating literature with hands-on challenges and interactive experiences, the program reinforced the importance of reading in a way that resonated with students.
