Pre-K Scholars Leave Their Mark on Black History Month Mural
Pre-K students at GAMS left their mark on a painted mural celebrating Black History Month. Pre-K students gathered with their class for the activity. Before beginning, students were led in a self-affirming exercise and were reminded of their value and the importance of being kind to others. While waiting their turn, students selected an age-level book to read about an influential figure in Black History or a book about kindness.
Featured in the photographs are Mrs. Jacqueline McGuire and Mrs. Jessica Ohlhoff.
