Fostertown Scholars Dress for Living History Project
Students at Fostertown Elementary participated in the first ever Bio Bash. Students worked with Ms. Beaulieu during their scheduled library time to research a person of interest that was a pioneer in the fields of sports, science, academics, music and medicine. They created boards showcasing their person and wrote a poem about them as well. The scholars then dressed up as the person they researched and presented it to parents and guardians.
This project was an excellent opportunity for students to use their research, writing and public speaking skills. They worked very hard to make a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Story and photos provided by Ms. Judi Beaulieu.
