Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Visits Balmville
Fourth-grade scholars at Balmville learned about science topics and concepts related to animals. They discovered that the structures of animals are essential for survival in their environments. A presentation by the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum provided students with a real-world experience, allowing them to see animals up close and observe the body parts that aid in their survival. Students learned about the many ways animals adapt. This visual experience enhanced their understanding and engaged them in a topic of great interest to them. Submitted by: Mrs. Sarita.
