Scholars Present Research and Ideas at Science Symposium
Students from grades 3 to 8 were encouraged to submit proposals for the Science Symposium held on May 28th, 2024, at the Newburgh Free Library preceding the Board of Education meeting. This engaging occasion provided an excellent platform for both students and educators to exhibit their scientific curiosity, research endeavors, and inventive ideas. Numerous students from various schools within the district submitted proposals and delivered presentations spotlighting their scientific investigations during this event.
The symposium featured a variety of presentations which included:
- Student research
- Interactive science demonstrations
- Engaging presentations on current scientific topics
Students were able to present on any scientific topic they would like. Student presentations were done individually and as a group.
Thank you to our student participants, their families, and our volunteer teachers who made this a successful event!
