About the Solar Eclipse | New York State
Are you ready for Monday's solar eclipse? This week, Governor Hochul teleconferenced with Dr. Jeanette Epps, a NASA astronaut originally from Syracuse who is currently aboard the International Space Station. During this conversation, Governor Hochul and Dr. Epps discussed topics submitted by students across New York State about the upcoming eclipse, as well as other topics related to science, space, and technology. Click here to view the conversation -- we hope you watch it with your family! A full transcript of their conversation is available here as well. And don’t forget: the total solar eclipse will pass through New York State on Monday, April 8. If you need more information about this once-in-a-generation event, visit iloveny.com/eclipse. Thank you again to your students who made this exciting conversation possible!
