Horizons on the Hudson Community Leaps Into Learning
With an extra day in the calendar year Horizons-on-the-Hudson decided to celebrate with our families for an event entitled “Leap Into Learning.” Across all the grades teachers created activities and arts and crafts centered around Leap Day. Since Leap Day only comes around once every four years we wanted to make it an extra memorable day. Students were reading and learning about the significance of the day. Many of our students were engaged in interactive learning games, painting and making frogs. Fourth grade even determined the effects of jumping and their heart rate. We were so excited to share in our learning with over 170 parents. We want to thank all of the parents who were able to join us and are looking forward to more events in the future.
