STEAM Event at Temple Hill Academy: Learning, Laughter, and a Beat that Stole the Show!
The Temple Hill Academy STEAM event was a blast! Students and families enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun and learning. They explored ten different stations, each with interesting experiments and activities including: building projects and hands-on experiments that blended math and science with art and technology.
Temple Hill went the extra mile and invited FACE (Family and Community Engagement) as a partner to provide families a way to connect with local organizations that offer support with available resources. Bringing in community organizations to chat about money, health, and happiness demonstrated Temple Hill’s commitment to our Goldbacks.
Mrs. Kim Tennant, Mrs. Katie Mineo, and Mrs. Monique Santoro led teachers, staff, and student volunteers in creating an unforgettable event. They are excited to plan more events that mix creativity, learning, and community spirit. “With the drumline's rhythm still in our hearts, we're ready for more amazing moments!” said Mrs. Mineo.
The Temple Hill STEAM event illustrated that when we come together, magic happens.
