Meadow Hill Scholars Build Replicas While Learning History

Meadow Hill  4th graders are studying the history and geography of our state, including the contributions of Native American tribes. They learned about the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, meaning People of the LongHouse, and made longhouses. This hands-on learning project provides valuable insights into the region's rich cultural heritage. Making replicas of longhouses is a way for students to engage with and understand these historical structures' architectural and cultural aspects. Our 4th graders did not disappoint, we have them on display showcasing our students' smarts and creativity.
