January 2024 Regents Exam Schedule || Rock the Regents Sessions
January, 2024
Dear NFA students and parents/guardians,
As the end of the first semester is quickly approaching it is important to provide you with timely and important information regarding Regents Exams. Only students scheduled to take a Regents exam are to come to school during the testing period of January 23, 2024 -January 26, 2024. The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the exam schedule and transportation schedule and to inform you of the procedures your child must follow during the testing period.
- NFA Main students will test at NFA Main Campus
- NFA North and NFA West students will test at NFA North Campus
You and your student should carefully read over the information provided within this letter.
Regents Examinations:
The Regents Examinations will take place Tuesday, January 23rd – Friday, January 26th. The schedule can be found by clicking the title link or by clicking here.
- Only students who are scheduled to take an exam during that time period are to come to school.
- If you are unsure whether you have an exam, please contact your school counselor as soon as possible.
The following policy from NYS is still in effect this year. There are no cell phones or electronic devices allowed in the testing rooms. Students who bring such devices to the exam will have their electronic devices collected by the proctor and returned at the conclusion of the exam. Should a student have an electronic device on them during the course of the examination their test will be invalidated and no score will be given. We encourage all students to leave their cell phones and other electronic devices at home. If a student needs to use the phone they can do so in the main office before or after the exam.
Students must come to the exams prepared. All students must have with them their Student ID Card, two blue or black pens and a pencil (pencil - only for exams having charts and graphs).
Room assignments will be posted the morning of each exam for students to reference as they enter the school building. The postings will be located in the main lobby and in the cafeteria hallway.
As always we thank you for your continued support and your willingness to work together for the success of your child.
Sincerely,
Mr. Matteo Doddo & Ms. Susan Valentino, Co-Principals
Newburgh Free Academy
