NFA P-TECH Students Engage in Resume Workshop with IBM Mentors

NFA P-TECH scholars met on Friday with representatives from IBM to get feedback on their resumes in anticipation of applying for paid internships in summer 2024. The event allowed students to practice their professional skills and network with IBM employees as well as receive intentional and targeted feedback on their resumes. After the event, P-TECH student Ethan Candela said that he learned that “networking with people with real-world experience made my work better than it would have been without this support.”  Student Xavier Moore noted that it helped him “make himself appear more attractive on paper as a future employee.”
