Fostertown Hosts Family Science Night
On Thursday, November 2, 2023, Fostertown Science Club hosted an interactive measurement themed Family Science Night under the supervision of advisors Mr. Garzione, Ms. Petrilli, and Ms. Tibbs and NFA North P-TECH senior and science club alumni, Thomas Giorgianni. Families of Fostertown students were invited to engage in activities that involve measuring length, width, height, circumference, volume, and estimation. The emphasis was to make the connection between math and science. This event was a great success! Our principal and assistant principal, Dr. Vazquez and Mrs. Cameron competed in a boat building competition. Mrs. Cameron reigned victorious but Dr. Vazquez did not lose without giving good competition as she felt hers was more creative! The next family science night theme will be magnetism and electricity and is planned for December 14th!
