REMINDER! Early Dismissal Drill | 15 Minutes Early
Hello Goldbacks!
This is a friendly reminder that Orange County will be conducting their annual Early Dismissal Drill on Friday, October 6, 2023. Students will be released approximately 15 minutes earlier than usual, arriving to their bus stop approximately 15 minutes earlier than usual. Students in grades PreK-2 must be met by a responsible person to be released.
Looking ahead to important dates in October 2023:
October 6th - Countywide Early Dismissal Drill (schools will dismiss approximately 15 minutes early). Students in grades PreK-2 must be met by a responsible person to be released.
October 9th - District closed | Federal holiday (Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day)
October 31st - 1/2 day for students; 1/2 day for staff development | Early Dismissal Schedule
As a reminder, you can add important school and district dates, including letter days, to your personal calendar by following these instructions.

Families should receive a colorful calendar in their child's backpack later next week! Calendars will be distributed one per family to the youngest and only children of each household.
