New Windsor School 5th Graders Participate in Escape Room Activity
Fifth graders at New Windsor school participated in a hands on middle school survival and organization skills escape room activity on Wednesday June 14. They were 13 groups, and each needed to perform a variety of tasks, with various roadblocks. Students used skills that they have learned as students at New Windsor. This was a culminating activity that closed out a two month long middle school Boot Camp series of lessons lead by Mr. Jason Michalek, the NWS counselor, and was planned and facilitated by Miss Grace McLaughlin, Mr. Michalek’s intern from SUNY New Paltz.
