21st Century After School Program - In Action at Balmville Elementary!

The 21st Century Afterschool Academy is an afterschool program where students can get homework help and tutoring along with enrichment activities that include but are not limited to chess, STEAM Project Based Learning, and the Arts provided by Newburgh Performing Arts Academy. Families will also have an opportunity to participate in Family Fun trips, Parent  University events, and participate in the Program Advisory Council Team (PACT).

The program will be held at the student's school (Balmville, GAMS, Gardnertown, and Horizons students are eligible) for 2 hours a day three days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from November 14, 2017-June 7, 2018. Students must participate all three days. 

Since its launch at Balmville, students have been having some awesome enrichment learning experiences! Balmville Elementary scholars have the opportunity to join the 21st Century After School Program, open to all Grades K - 5th. They are in school until 6:15pm, enjoy a nice snack, some stretching time, homework help, and various class offerings including dance & STEM! See some photos here!
