GAMS Teachers Turn Classroom into Donut Shop
Ms. Spencer-Smith and Mrs. Bulson's 5th grade classes came together for a donut shop classroom transformation just in time for National Donut Day on June 2nd. Students spent 2 days working together to complete donut themed reading and math challenges. This included working with data and graphs, learning about the history of donuts, using context clues, and answering reading comprehension questions. They collected donuts in their donut boxes when challenges were completed and celebrated their success with a sweet treat!
