New Windsor School Holds Annual Social Emotional Learning Day Celebration
NWS celebrated another day of Social Emotional Learning with our last SEL days of the school year. Our K-5 students took part in SEL activities in recognition of the importance of Social and Emotional aspects of our Learning. Thanks to organizers Mrs. Caci, Mrs. Petruncola, Mr. Michalek, and Ms. DeForest, as well as special area teachers Mrs. Sepulveda, Mrs. Rowell, Mr. Juneau, and Mrs. Sheehy, as well as intern Rebecca Webster. Our NWS students took part in activities to promote Emotional Intelligence and recognition of the multifaceted nature of our emotions. Our SEL days help students realize their strengths and learn to contribute to a caring and supportive school environment
