NFA Softball Recognizes Senior Athlete
The NFA Softball team recognized their sole senior athlete this week. Marissa has been on NFA Varsity Softball team since 7th grade and has started for all 6 years. Marissa started in center field and switched the shortstop for her senior year. She will continue her softball career at Division I University of Albany in the fall.
From her teammate Melissa Schulze, "Marissa is truly an inspiration to us all. She’s an amazing person, player, teammate and influence. Playing softball with her throughout the years starting from Town ball has been an amazing experience and we can’t wait to see you go to college and succeed there as well. You will accomplish great things and we can not thank you enough for helping us grow to be better players and people on and off the field."
The NFA Softball team is coached by Head Coach Christopher Leggett and Assistant Coach Katie Mineo.
