Vails Gate STEAM Academy Visited by Mid Hudson Discovery Museum

Building in the Hudson Valley has forced animals of all kinds to move out of their natural environments. It’s up to the Vails Gate STEAM Academy rescue veterinarians to design and construct a home that will keep birds safe from the human world. Students worked on building homes for our aviary neighbors. Mid Hudson Discovery Museum visited each 2nd grade class for an activity in the morning. Students also engaged in all day STEAM activities including building waterparks, testing magnetic forces, creating art with Legos, creating roller coasters with k'nex and much more.
