NFA Main Hosts Its First Ever Girls Flag Football Senior Night

On Friday, May 5, 2023, the Newburgh Free Academy (NFA) Girls Flag Football team honored its senior players.  The Senior Night marks the first such event for the team, as they recognized seniors, Salma Martinez (Center), Aliza Sanchez (Linebacker), and Makayla Manso (Quarterback/Wide Receiver). The players were gifted flowers and cards from their teammates and coaches prior to the start of their game against Minisink Valley. In its inaugural season, the team's comradery is building and their play continues to improve from game-to-game under the leadership of Head Coach Liam Henderson and Assistant Coach Jerry Ortiz. Congratulations seniors!
