Town of Newburgh Police Officer Visits Horizons-on-the-Hudson Scholars to Discuss Internet Safety

On Friday, March 17, Officer Adam Geyer of the Town of Newburgh Police Department made a special visit to Horizons-on-the-Hudson to talk to scholars about the importance of internet safety.  He discussed ways to avoid dangerous people and to prevent situations that can occur while surfing the internet, posting to social media, or even while playing video games. Officer Geyer handed out packets to the Horizons scholars with tips to keep their internet activity fun and safe.
