NFA Debate Sends Eight Students to National Qualifier
On Saturday March 4th, 8 members of the NFA Debate team competed virtually in the Hudson Valley Districts Debate Tournament. These 8 students qualified throughout the debate season while competing successfully in various tournaments and competitions. The district tournament was a qualifier event for the debate nationals to be held in June in Phoenix, AZ. Students will find out later on if they qualify for nationals. Students debated against the top competition in the Hudson Valley region. Members of the debate team who qualified to compete in districts were Anakin Landolfa, Anthony Argueta, Aarav Shah, Theo Pollick, Quinn Fairbanks, Jenell Rosales, Adam Quezada and Madelyn Bell.
