Gardnertown Leadership Academy Scholars Learn Healthy Dental Habits from Special Guest

We were so lucky to have Dr. Gina Prokosch-Cook visit the Pre-K classes at Gardnertown Leadership Academy to discuss her job as a dentist.  She also modeled how to brush our teeth properly and discussed good food and drink choices.  As she explained all about dental x-rays, Pre-K students looked at real x-rays that Dr. Cook shared.  At the end of her visit, Dr. Cook left goodie bags for all.  Each goodie bag included a new toothbrush, toothpaste, flossers, and other great things to encourage healthy habits.  Dr. Cook has been to GLA before and we are so thankful she continues to come and teach us all about dental health.
