NFA Boys Varsity Goldbacks host the 5th Annual Danny "Butterfly" Washington Showcase

On December 21st the NFA Boys Varsity Goldbacks held the 5th Annual Danny "Butterfly" Washington Showcase to help remember a longtime former Goldback and keep his memory alive. "Butterfly" was an active supporter and follower of NFA Athletics. Coach Brown and the Goldbacks have helped establish a scholarship in his name over the past 5 years for a student athlete at NFA to be given at the end of the year Block N Awards Dinner. The Goldbacks took home the 1st place plaque this year by beating Saugerties High School 85-75.
