New Windsor School Annual FALL SEL Day!
On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, New Windsor School held their annual Fall SEL Day for grades 3, 4 and 5. Special thanks to Mrs. Caci and Mrs. Petruncola for organizing this encouraging event that celebrates Social and Emotional Well-Being of our school community. Our scholars had the privilege of participating in various activities that focused on mindfulness, teamwork, cooperation, and celebrated the uniqueness of each student. Students participated in Team building (marshmallow and spaghetti structures), Getting to Know You Jenga, The Domino Effect, Button Making, and Hopes and Dreams (meditation and art). We all had a wonderful time of reflection and getting to know individual scholars through activities and conversations. All of the amazing students followed the NWS expectations well and had a fabulous time!
