Update | City of Newburgh Schools
This is an update for all schools located in the City of Newburgh for Thursday, October 13, 2022.
South Middle School and NFA Ann Street will be closed.
All other schools in the City of Newburgh, which include Newburgh Free Academy - Main, North, and West, Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS), and Horizons on the Hudson, will open and operate on their regular schedule.
Meals will be provided as usual. The City of Newburgh is under a boil water advisory until the end of the week. Drinking water will be available and provided upon request. We encourage students and employees to bring drinking water from home if possible.
