NECSD and The Newburgh Free Library Receive a Generous Donation
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District and the Newburgh Free Library received a generous donation of 65 backpacks and school supplies from 13 different Marshalls & T.J. Maxx stores located throughout the tristate area. Each store donated five backpacks filled with school supplies.
The backpacks and school supplies will be distributed at the School Is Cool: A Back to School Celebration, a school readiness event hosted annually by the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. The Newburgh Free Library and NECSD will also be hosting entertainment artists in a celebration of culture and the arts through dance and music.
Additional event partners include the City of Newburgh Recreation Department, We Are Newburgh, and Blacc Vanilla.
The School is Cool: A Back to School Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 1pm to 4pm at the Newburgh Free Library Plaza.
