Meadow Hill Hosts ESYP Showcase
The ESYP (Extended School Year Program) at Meadow Hill this year was a blast! Students learned and explored a vast variety of items during summer school and had an opportunity to share what they learned with their loved ones during a showcase on Thursday, July 28th. Scholars showed off their creativity in art with Mrs. Williams & Mrs. Grady where they examined fossils and then created their own fossils using clay. Then in Music, scholars worked on their rhythm with tambourines and xylophones. In Physical Education class students looked at quotes from popular sports legends and explored activities from archery to basketball. Scholars in Mrs. Candel's class tried to beat the heat by making ice cream! Kindergarten and 1st grade also camped out while reading by a fire and in a tent.
