Meadow Hill School Annual Reading Retreat
Students in grades K-8 recently participated in the Reading Retreat. Students arrived at school wearing their comfy pajamas and were ready to snuggle up and read. This Reading Retreat consisted of Mystery Readers visiting the classrooms, a reading scavenger hunt where students needed to solve clues that were located throughout the building, and students were able to pick out and keep a book of their choice. Students in Grades 6-8 also participated in fun reading activities in their ELA classrooms and also were able to choose a book of their choice to keep to bring home. Huge thanks to our GEM staff who set up this great event! Mrs. Russell, Ms. Brands, Ms. Figueroa, Ms. Whitaker, Mrs. Lampack, Mrs. Grady, and Dr. Watts-Delisfort.
