NFA North learns from NY Mets and NY Giants team doctor!
Dr. Conway Family Medicine and Sports Medicine Physician was today's speaker in Health Science Education classes at NFA North. He shared key information about educational journey becoming a Sports Medicine doctor.
Dr. Conway gave insight on his experiences at Crystal Run, his college experience at Princeton which led him to working with the New York Mets and the New York Giants. He also works with the US Ski Team.
Students asked questions from concussion treatment to other sports related injury.
Dr. Conway gave key tips regarding Physical Assessment and observation! This was especially interesting to our Health Science students who are currently learning this skill. Dr. Conway encourages students to enter healthcare. He explained that this is currently one of our largest employment areas. He stated he loves healthcare for its rewarding factor of helping others.
