Update for NFA Main Campus - April 28, 2022 - All Schools Open on Regular Schedule
April 28, 2022
Dear NFA Main Campus students, families, faculty, and staff,
I’m writing to provide an update to the message you should have received earlier tonight. All NECSD schools will open on a regular schedule, tomorrow, Friday, April 29th. The decision to open all schools was made in collaboration with local law enforcement. If anything changes, an update will be provided.
The district has been working with multiple levels of law enforcement to assist in investigating and supporting our schools at this time. Tonight's message is believed to be unassociated with the threat earlier this week, but the investigation is ongoing.
We are extremely thankful to our students and families who continue to alert our teachers and administrators to concerns they have seen, allowing us to react quickly. The collaboration we have received from our students and families also reiterates that these disruptions are being caused by very few people and a majority of our students are looking forward to returning to their regularly scheduled day and traditional high school experience.
If a student has questions or concerns, they should speak with their teacher, school counselor, social worker, coach, school psychologist, building principal, or other adult that they trust.
Sincerely,
Mr. Ed Forgit
Interim Superintendent of Schools

Sinceramente,
Sr. Ed Forgit
Superintendente Interino de Escuelas
