Horizons Holds Library Tour & Dance Party for Pre-K Scholars

On Friday, April 8th, Horizons pre-k scholars participated in a tour of the school library and a dance party with the 2021 New York Library Association's School Librarian of the Year Ms. Michell Wright Jumpp. The future kindergartners received their introduction to the library and teacher that will ultimately be guiding their literacy journey during their next six years at Horizons on the Hudson. Ms. Jumpp and her 5th grade helpers showed the young scholars how to navigate the library and find books that interest them. After a brief question & answer session, the music was turned on and the pre-k students put their best dance moves on display.
