Meadow Hill 4th Grade Scholars Celebrate Cultures from Around the World
The 4th grade classes at Meadow Hill conducted a research project on countries around the world. As a culminating activity, it was decided to bring back the Annual Culture Fair opened only to the 4th graders.
On Friday, April 8th, 2022, each classroom hosted a different cultural activity including, Zumba, Carnival Masks, Henna, Flowers for Ukraine, Japanese Calligraphy and World Trivia. The classrooms were decorated with flags and backdrops of pictures from around the world.

Mr. Wenzel and his home careers classes made cultural foods such as:
Horchata - Spanish Drink which has milk, condensed milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and blended rice.
Tika Masala - Indian Punjabi style curry - Ingredients include tomato, cream and serrano peppers for a kick
Basmati Rice - long grain rice traditionally grown in India, Pakistan and Nepal.
Chocolate Chip Cookies - good ole American chocolate chip cookies.
Next year we are hoping to bring it all back for our 6th Annual Cultural Fair.
