New Windsor School Hosts Assembly Celebrating Black History
New Windsor School celebrated Black History Month with an assembly acknowledging the hard work, triumphs, and rich culture of the many African Americans who contributed to the shape of our nation. We honor all of the inventors, authors, mathematicians and scientists who paved the way for our scholars. A special thank you to Mr. Danny Dottin, Principal of Gardnertown School, for inspiring NWS scholars with his message on purpose, passion, and perseverance. Mr. Dottin expressed these core values along with the importance of loving yourself as you are and embracing others despite their differences. Certainly a perfect message as we continue to celebrate diversity!
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
