Horizons on the Hudson Kicks off Dental Health Month

On Friday, January 28th, HOH hosted a Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures Virtual visit for our students. Dr. Martin and Carla Johnson from the BSBF team provided a class on healthy habits of handwashing, exercise, nutrition, and choosing beverages, with a focus on dental health. This interactive visit provided demonstrations of correct tooth brushing and flossing techniques along with fun  dancing the floss. The Colgate BSBF Van has come to HOH since 2018 and this is our second year hosting a virtual visit. We are always grateful to these excellent professionals for educating our scholars in dental health and inspiring them to visit the dentist and possibly to become dentists!
