Attention All District Families: Take the Annual K12 Insight Survey.
At Newburgh Enlarged City School District, we’re committed to working with you to prepare our students to be tomorrow’s leaders. Only by listening to our community can we ensure our schools are setting up all our students for excellence.
That’s why we’re asking you to participate in our Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) Survey, which is part of the New York State Department of Education requirements for Focus and Priority Schools. Survey questions address leadership and capacity, school leader practices and decisions, curriculum development and support, teacher practices and decisions, student social and emotional developmental health, and family and community engagement.
“This annual survey is an opportunity to have an ongoing conversation about how we can best support our students,” said Dr. Roberto Padilla, superintendent of schools. “Our community’s feedback will help us evaluate our progress and identify areas for continued improvement.”
The survey is open through Friday, December 15, 2017
Staff and parents should check their email for an invitation and survey link. Parents can also take the survey by clicking the link above. Parents can also take the survey at a parent-teacher conference. Students in grades 3 -12 will take the survey in school.
All survey responses are strictly confidential. Independent research and communications firm K12 Insight is administering the survey and compiling the results. The final reports will only share overall results, not individual responses.
