UPDATE from NECSD
Good morning NECSD students, faculty, and staff,
The district is aware that another shooting took place in our community this morning at approximately 7:00am on Lander Street near South Street and Farrington Street. We have not received any reports of injury at this time.
As of now we are not aware of any NECSD student involvement or the ages of any individual involved, however, it is still an active investigation and we are awaiting more details.
Anyone with information is asked to call the City of Newburgh Police Department at 845-561-3131.
