NFA North Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month

NFA North Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in many ways this year. Flags were hung, an artifact display case adorned the main entrance, and student posters highlighted some of the most influential Hispanics in recent history. Additionally, students and faculty shared facts, and quotes in honor of Hispanic Heritage via morning announcements.

Did you know in Yoro Honduras it rains fish at least twice a year? It’s called lluvia de peces.

We didn’t either. NFA North senior, Alexa Alvarez challenged us to research this for ourselves and we did. The images of this natural phenomenon are astounding. Check it out for yourself!

NFA North welcomes international Newcomer students with open arms!
