Fostertown Learns about National Fire Prevention Week
This week is National Fire Prevention Week! Fostertown School invited the Cronomer Valley Fire Department to school to educate their scholars about fire prevention and safety tips. Several stations were set up for scholars to learn about the various equipment and the proper stop, drop, and roll technique. Additionally, scholars were able to learn at a live, controlled fire station. There, they learned the importance of having an evacuation plan from their home, leaving their doors closed while sleeping, and how different household items can alter the effects of a fire (water, baking soda, or a lid to suffocate a fire).
All photos from the day can be viewed and downloaded for free here.
