NFA Goldbacks Varsity Football Kick-off Update
The NFA Goldbacks Varsity Football Game scheduled for this Friday, September 24th, against Middletown will now kick-off at 5:30pm. The change in kick-off time and increased security protocols are in place for the safety of our athletes, parents, community members, and athletics program. We look forward to all home and visiting teams and spectators enjoying the game!
If you plan to attend this game, please be aware of the following safety protocols:
- Any bags brought to Academy Field will be searched at the gate
- Students attending the game will be required to show their Student ID at the gate and be approved by the 85% list. Student tickets can be purchased in AP offices.
- Spectators are encouraged to remain in their seats when restrooms and concessions are not being visited.
- No entry will be allowed after the start of the 3rd quarter.
- There is NO REENTRY. Once a spectator has left the gates, they will not be admitted back inside.
- There will be an increase in School Monitors and NPD presence throughout the stadium and entry/exit points.
- Fans should do their best to maintain at least 3 feet of physical distancing and/or wear a mask when that is not possible
The NFA Class of 2022 is hosting a NEON Party at the game - wear your best neon/bright colored clothing in support of the Goldbacks! Glow sticks will be given out in exchange for donations to the senior class to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate in the theme!
This is a reminder that we are still in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please consider the COVID-19 vaccination if you have not already and continue to wash your hands, watch your distance, and wear a mask when you are in close proximity to others. Together, we can overcome this pandemic.
