Today is National School Nurse Day!

Today is National School Nurse Day! We celebrate our outstanding School Nurses who have gone above and beyond this year by training and administering COVID-19 tests and by making sure everyone who enters our school buildings has completed the necessary health screenings to insure for a safe learning environment for all! These new responsibilities are on top of the usual role these professionals play in educating our scholars about physical health and taking care of our scholars when they are feeling ill. Thank you to our school nurses today and every day! 

Since 1972, National School Nurse Day has been set aside to recognize school nurses. National School Nurse Day was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting.
