NFA North Scholar Participates in Eastern Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS)
Congratulations to Science Research senior Arnaz Reza for participating in the Eastern Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) on Saturday February 6th. JSHS is a prestigious competition that selects student speakers to present their research based on a written research paper and analysis of their work. It is an honor to be selected as a speaker at JSHS since there are more student submissions than available speaker sessions. Arnaz has been working with her advisors at Mount Saint Mary College since the summer of 2019 on her research titled Discovering & Characterizing a Microbacterium Foliorum Phage (Vegas) and Annotating a Gordonia Terrae Phage (Whiteclaw): A Comparative Study Between Whiteclaw and Other Bacteriophages of the Same Cluster. Congratulations to Arnaz for her research accomplishments!
